COMMITTEE FOR SC / ST
Establishment of Committee for SC/ST as per the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (No. 33 of 1989 dated 11.09.1989).
AIM: The Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Cell promotes the special interests of students belonging to reserved categories and provides support in areas where students experience academic, social, or personal difficulties.
ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES: The cell conducts remedial coaching, life skills training, personality development programs, communication skills, and language classes. It also organizes interactive sessions and guides SC/ST/OBC/PWD students to optimally utilize benefits offered by State Governments, Government of India (GOI), and UGC.
