Expand current capabilities of Consultancy and R & D activities at department level.

To provide students with a deep working knowledge of fundamentals in areas related to the field to address needs of the Industry and Society.

To train students in developing technologies and finding solutions to complex engineering problems.

To familiarize students in the core process of product development – conceptualize, design, manufacture & testing.

To nurture innovators in technology.

To give domain-specific expertise to the department’s faculty.

To empower students to pursue higher levels of graduation, leadership positions, and entrepreneurial endeavors.

To encourage the faculty of the department to engage in relevant research programs.

To provide consultancy services to the Industry on latest technologies.
