With the rapid development of Business and Management Sciences, the Research & Development (R&D) Cell at Brilliant Institute of Engineering & Technology, Abdullapurmet, R.R Dist was established in February, 2018. The Cell is managed by a Chief Coordinator, Research Associate, and other office staff.

The Department of MBA actively participates in the R&D Cell's activities, focusing on management research, business analytics, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration. The department encourages faculty and students to undertake funded research projects, industry-sponsored studies, and consultancy work for local businesses and organizations.

Objectives of R & D Cell

To develop research skills among faculty and students in management and business studies.
To promote research in strategic management, finance, marketing, and organizational behaviour.
To create entrepreneurial mindset among students through innovation and startup culture.
To work closely with industry and business organizations for applied management research.
To have periodical interactive sessions with entrepreneurs, business leaders, and industry experts.
To enhance business analytics and data-driven decision-making skills among students.
To serve SMEs and government organizations by taking up management consultancy projects.
To conduct research on sustainable business practices, CSR, and social entrepreneurship.

Functions of R & D Cell

To ensure smooth functioning and effective management of R&D activities in the MBA department.
To provide a central coordination point for research activities among faculty and students.
To identify potential projects and funding sources from ICSSR, UGC, and industry bodies.
To establish collaboration with business schools, research centers, and corporate organizations.
To liaise with CII, FICCI, and private sector for consultancy-based research projects.
Implementation, follow-up, monitoring and evaluation of ongoing research projects.
To assist in matters related to collaborative research with other agencies.
