Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) describe the expected accomplishments of graduates a few years after completing the program. The PEOs of the Computer Science and Engineering program are:
Graduates will demonstrate strong technical competence in computer science fundamentals, enabling them to design, develop, and deploy software and hardware solutions for real-world problems.
Graduates will apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges using modern tools, technologies, and methodologies.
Graduates will exhibit professional ethics, effective communication, and teamwork skills required to succeed in industry, research, and entrepreneurial environments.
Graduates will engage in lifelong learning and adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of computing and information technology through continuous professional development.
Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
The Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) describe what students are expected to know and be able to do upon graduation, specific to the Computer Science and Engineering program:
Apply knowledge of programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles to design and develop efficient, scalable, and reliable software systems.
Utilize modern computing tools, frameworks, and platforms including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity to solve domain-specific engineering problems.
Demonstrate the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, contribute to research and innovation, and apply computing solutions to societal and industrial challenges with professional responsibility.
