About Mr. M. Om Prakash
Mr. M. Om Prakash is a dedicated academician and technology professional with extensive experience in both teaching and software development. With over 8 years of teaching expertise and 5 years of real-time industry experience in software development, he brings a strong blend of academic excellence and practical knowledge to the field of Computer Engineering and Software Engineering.
He holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Basavaraju College of Engineering & Technology, affiliated with JNTUH, along with an MCA from Osmania University. He has been ratified by JNTUH as Assistant Professor in 2023, reflecting his academic competence and professional standing.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Brilliant Institute of Engineering and Technology, he has actively contributed to academics, administration, curriculum development, student mentoring, and institutional quality initiatives.
Prior to his academic career, he worked as a Senior .NET Developer and Software Developer in reputed software organizations, gaining hands-on experience in application development and enterprise technologies. This industry exposure helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world software engineering practices.
Mr. Om Prakash has guided numerous UG and PG projects, successfully mentoring more than 30 M.Tech projects and 54 B.Tech projects. He has also published and presented research papers in emerging areas such as Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, IoT, and Network Technologies.
