About Mr. Mittakanti Vinod Kumar

Mr. Mittakanti Vinod Kumar is an accomplished academician, administrator, and researcher, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Brilliant Institute of Engineering and Technology (BRIL). He has over 14 years of professional experience, including 13 years of teaching and 1 year of industrial experience, with more than a decade of dedicated service at BRIL.

He completed his M.Tech in VLSI & Embedded Systems (VLSI & ES) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), specializing in advanced VLSI Design and Embedded Technologies. His academic interests include Embedded Systems, VLSI, IoT, Digital Electronics, Signal Processing, and Communication Systems.

He played a pivotal role in the institution's quality initiatives by serving as the NAAC Coordinator and Autonomous College Coordinator, significantly contributing to the successful achievement of NAAC Accreditation and Autonomous Status. His leadership in documentation, compliance, academic audits, and quality assurance has strengthened the institution's academic standards.

A passionate researcher and mentor, he has published several research papers and books in reputed journals and conferences. He has actively organized and participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), seminars, workshops, and conferences, while successfully completing five NPTEL courses with multiple Elite Certifications, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and innovation.

He has successfully guided 60+ student projects in the areas of VLSI, Embedded Systems, IoT, Communication Systems, and Electronics Applications, promoting research-oriented and hands-on learning. He is widely recognized for his academic leadership, effective mentoring, strategic planning, and unwavering dedication to excellence in teaching, research, accreditation, and institutional development.
