Promoting Innovation, Research and Industrial Collaboration
With the rapid development of Science & Technology, we established the Research & Development (R&D) Cell at Brilliant Institute Engineering & Technology, Abdullapurmet, R.R Dist in February, 2018. The Cell is managed by a Chief Coordinator, Research Associate, and other office staff.
The prime objective of the cell is to promote and encourage aspiring students and faculty members to carry out research in the field of science, engineering and technology by providing the necessary facilities and infrastructure required for them.

Objectives of R & D Cell
- To develop research skills among the faculty and students.
- To promote and encourage aspiring students and faculty members to carry out research in the field of science, engineering and technology by providing necessary facilities and infrastructure.
- To create zeal among the students towards research and innovation.
- To work closely with industrial needs that eventually result in new or improved products, processes, systems or services.
- Innovative business activity creating added value in the global economy.
- Building an innovation-friendly society aimed at long-term development.
- To have periodical interactive sessions with entrepreneurs and industrialists.
- To enhance skill development training and self-employment opportunities.
- To serve government organizations by taking up sponsored projects.
- To conduct research work and surveys for identifying entrepreneurial opportunities for students and organize talent shows, exhibitions, and business stalls.
Functions of R & D Cell
- To ensure smooth functioning and effective management of R&D activities in the institution.
- To provide a central coordination point for R&D activities among departments, faculty members, and research students.
- To identify potential projects and funding sources and communicate them to relevant authorities.
- To establish collaboration with universities, research centers, and industries for research and development projects.
- To liaise with public and private sectors and identify consultancy-based R&D projects.
- Implementation, follow-up, monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects.
- To assist in matters related to collaborative research with other agencies.
