NSS Awareness Programme on Social Responsibility and Youth Empowerment
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Brilliant Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an Awareness Programme aimed at promoting social responsibility, discipline, safety, and responsible citizenship among students.
The programme focused on three important themes: Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam – Promoting Women Empowerment, Anti-Ragging Awareness – Say No to Ragging and Yes to a Joyful Campus, and Anti-Drug Awareness – Choose Life and Stay Drug Free. Through these initiatives, students were encouraged to respect equality, maintain a ragging-free campus, stay away from harmful substances, and contribute positively to society.
The programme was graced by Mr. P. Srinivas Rao, Inspector of Police, Eagle Team Telangana, as the Chief Guest. He addressed the students on the importance of responsible behaviour, awareness about social issues, and the role of youth in creating a safer and stronger society.
The event reflected the institution’s commitment to developing socially responsible students and creating a healthy, inclusive, and secure campus environment. The NSS Unit continues to inspire students with the spirit of “Serve • Aware • Empower • Build a Better Tomorrow.”
